    And at times a walk on the beach is full of saddness as I remember the last night on Second Beach in Rhode Island before we moved to Kansas to help my folks in the senior years. How sad I was to be leaving my Second Beach that brought me so much love.

    Absolutely true!!! My husband and I walk the beach for sunrise when we can, our son is in the US Navy and it makes us feel closer to him, even when he is far away in unknown parts of the world.

    Let me preface this by saying I own ALL of your novels. Mostly in hardback, as I will never get rid of them. I read one and then place it back on my shelves taking it out a year or so later to re-read. Your writing is fluid, descriptive, without be boring, and filled with stories of genuine, caring compassionate characters.
